According to information released by the Indian Government, the Indian Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully flight-tested indigenously developed low weight, fire and forget Man Portable Antitank Guided Missile (MPATGM) on July 21, 2021.
The MPATGM (Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile), is an Indian-made third-generation fire-and-forget anti-tank guided missile derived from Nag ATGM (Anti-Tank Guided Missile). It is currently under development by the Indian Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)

The test brings the development of indigenous third-generation man portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile close to completion. It is fitted with a high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead and has an operational firing range of 2,500 m.
The missile of the MPATGM has a length of about 1,300 mm and a diameter of about 120 mm with aluminum and carbon fiber launch tube and collapsible tripod to save on weight. It has a weight of 14.5 kg, with its command launch unit (CLU) weighing 14.25 kg which combines a laser designator with digital all-
